Telling tales, how to make sure your data, finding and learning makes more impact.
Businesses depend on stories. It’s a story that drives a founder to create a business. It’s a story that makes investors commit. It’s a story that gets partners to join in. It’s a story that gets people to try, buy, use a brand.
Dave McCaughan has been helping businesses find, formulate and tell their story for nearly four decades. Global and local businesses. Big brands wanting to expand across Asia. Small Thai brands wanting to launch or relaunch. From toothpaste to global travel, coffee to cosmetics, local Bangkok theme parks to ,,, well you name it, he has probably helped develop stories for it.
His BETTER BUSINESS STORYTELLING workshops have been used by global consulting firms, to local library associations, to Japanese lipstick makers trying to tell stories for French, Italian and Chinese women. The focus is always:
Do you know what matters to the people you want to understand your story?
How do you decide on the structure of the story?
What is the “sticky” point that will make it memorable?
The workshop helps you create stories to explain what you do differently, how a single statistic can make a difference, what personality you need to take on to tell your story.
A lot of stories as illustrations, some easy to use tools for identifying and telling a story better, exercises to help you become a better storyteller.
