Amy Sawitta Lefevre is a former international journalist whose work has appeared in The Guardian, CNN and TRT, among other outlets. She was previously Reuters’ Deputy Bureau Chief for Thailand and Indochina where she covered political unrest, elections, natural disasters and human trafficking.

Amy is a two time recipient of the Society of Publishers in Asia (SOPA) award. Amy is currently Policy Communications Manager at Facebook for Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam, Pakistan, Sri Lanka. She is British/Thai and lives in Bangkok.
