Mui Poopoksakul is a lawyer-turned-translator with a special interest in contemporary Thai literature. She is the translator of Prabda Yoon’s The Sad Part Was and Moving Parts. Her translations of Duanwad Pimwana’s short story collection Arid Dreams and her novel Bright were published in April 2019. A native of Bangkok, she spent two decades in the U.S. before moving to Berlin, Germany.
