Sarinee Achavanuntakul is a Thai writer, translator, social critic, and sustainable business researcher. She writes regularly about citizen empowerment in the 21st century and sustainability in various publications including The Momentum and The Matter. Sarinee is also co-founder of Thai Netizen Network (TNN), an Internet freedom and online privacy advocacy group; ThaiPublica, an online investigative news organization;  Sal Forest Co. Ltd., Thailand’s first sustainable business accelerator which aims to foster discourse on sustainable business in Thailand via research, and currently serves as Managing Director, Knowledge Development. In 2018, she co-founded Salt Publishing, a publishing house that focuses on science, technology and philosophy books.
