Three mature musicians studied in individual countries in Europe guide you to “Music Voyage”, various type of music, starting from 17 century Italy to 18 century Scotland via Nederland, France, England and Germany.

Please enjoy different colours by combinations among many types of Flute, Recorder, Bagpipe, Cello and Harpsichord! (Also, you can get the knowledge about instrument and music styles)

Musicians :

Tomo Kida

“Recorder/Flauto Traverso/Bagpipe”

Japanese Early music player on Flauto Traverso, Recorder, Bagpipe and Clarsach (Celtic wire strung harp) studied both Early music and Celtic music in Scotland. He was a member of
professional recorder ensemble “Carillon” (prize winner at the All Japan Recorder Competition)
He occasionally teaches period instrument as a volunteer lecturer at several universities in Bangkok, ex) Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music, Assumption University

Pukao – Kunut Chaloempornpong “Cello”

A Thai Cellist, graduated with a master’s degree in Cello performance from Brussels, Belgium. He had experience playing with several youth and professional orchestras and chamber music ensembles. He currently works in the National Symphony Orchestra of Thailand, and also teaches at Royal Thai Air Force School of Music, Panyotai Waldorf School, and Wellington College International School bangkok.

Makiko Asahi

“Spinet” (Small size harpsichord)

Japanese historical keyboard player (harpsichord and fortepiano) and pianist. She graduated in Germany with three master’s degrees: piano at the University of Music Stuttgart, piano chamber music at the University of Music Trossingen (highest grade) and harpsichord (highest grade).


Tickets can be purchased online or at the library.

Parking Location:

With the limited parking space available at the library, it is recommended that you take a taxi or use public transportation. If you do drive, parking is available at Bangkok Union Insurance, 175/177 Surawong Road (garage entry on Soi Anuman Rajdhon 1) a 5-minute walk to the Neilson Hays Library. They charge a fee of THB 30 per hour for parking
